One more thing about Western Field Ornithologists' growing offerings this year:

WFO will be funding one young birder (aged 16-21) with a YOUTH
SCHOLARSHIP to participate in a field expedition to the south-central
Sierras in California this July. This trip will be led by Jon Dunn,
Kimball Garrett, and Bob Barnes. This is an amazing opportunity for
a young person who is committed to the field study of birds to learn
about the birds and environment of this region in the close company
of some of North America's top field ornithologists.

WFO will also soon be offering expanded youth scholarships for its
