Hi Tweeters -
I'm trying to photograph the various raptor species that are indigenous to Washington state (excluding owls for now) and I'd like to get any input on reliable locations for the following species. I realize that birds can move around quite a bit, so there's no guarantee that a bird will be in a particular location from day-to-day, but I have found that some birds will stick to a specific area for a period of time (good example is the Edison Merlin.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
* Northern Goshawk
* Prairie Falcon
* Golden Eagle
Along the same lines, have there been any recent sightings of the White-tailed Kite or Red-shouldered Hawk in southwest Washington? If I can't find reliable locations for the list above, I might head to Longview.
Thanks,
Raymond Parsons
