I was alarmed to read that the Rufous were already in Lacey - that means that they can't be far away from
Puyallup. They are usually not here until the week of my birthday which is the 23rd, so they are at least 10
days early.
The alarming part is what is going to happen when they arrive and find that two Anna's males have claimed
the two feeders in my yard and at least 3 females are gorging on sugar water dawn to dusk. Clarice Clark
