Hello all,
A nice spring morning yesterday before the rain and wind hit in Walla Walla county - highlights:

LONG-BILLED CURLEW - near Wallula Junction - 1 bird
WESTERN BLUEBIRDS - 5 at Madam Dorion Park, 3 near Port Kelley
CLARK'S GREBE - 1 at Port Kelley
These three take our county year list to 136

Snow Geese - 3,000+ still at McNary NWR, with a few Blue Geese mixed in
Great White-fronted Geese - 800+ , MP300, McNary NWR
Cackling Geese - 300+, McNary NWR
Dunlin - 176, WWRdelta, 22 on the blood pond, Dodd rd.
Violet-green Swallow - 1 on Byrnes rd, 8 near Port Kelley where they nest
Western Gull - 1 adult - poop piles
Glaucous Gull - 2nd yr. bird - poop piles
Ring-billed Gulls - lots with several very pink ones in the mix
Common Loon - 1 at Port Kelley
Rock Wren - singing near Port Kelley
Canyon Wren - 3 birds singing near Port Kelley
Say's Phoebe - 1 near Port Kelley
Eared Grebe - 1 at Wallula grain terminal
Northern Shrike - 1 adult on Hanson Loop rd.
Northern Pintail - 8,000+, WWRdelta
American Wigeon - 2,000+, WWRdelta
Eurasian Wigeon - 1, WWRdelta
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 5 at McNary NWR
Golden Eagle - 1, Port Kelley
Cooper's Hawks - 1 on Byrnes Road, 1 adult at McNary NWR - where they nest
swans - probably Tundra - 7 at McNary NWR - all with neads tucked way out there
Bald Eagles - still everywhere from Port Kelley up to McNary

Many birds on nest - Great Horned Owls, Barn Owl, Great Blue Herons, Red-tailed Hawks, DC Cormorants, and the gulls are all fighting over nesting space on Crescent Island.
