Came home from mall shopping and had lunch at the Manor on Chuckanut
Dr.Coming home along Chuckanut Dr there was 15 Short-Billed Dowitchers in a
pond near the Buffalo Farm. Drove thru Bow and saw the Bow-Edison Merlin
(OMG-don't hang me!! ) Good place to park behind restaurant and take pics as
we have seen him before driving thru there. He's even been seen in
Anacortes.Went on out to W-90 and saw a Red-Tailed Hawk with elongated bill
sitting on a post. Came back thru the flats there and saw a large flock of
Shovelers in a pond across from all the blueberries. Also saw Green-Wing
Teal and Pintails and Wigeon, you name it we got it. A nice flock of
Trumpeter Swans on that side of 20. Shud B one great weekend for birds.
Daffs are barely out and tulips so far a no show...Enjoy!!
