Wood Duck are now at the beaver ponds on McLane Bottoms (McLane Creek
Nature Trail), Thurston County. (The last time I was here was Feb 17th,
so they could have arrived any time during the past month.) Two very
vivid males plus a female. Otherwise, bird presence and activity level
here was unusually low.
