Hello Tweets!

I just had to share this amazingly Raptor-filled drive from my home in Brown's Point area of Tacoma, along the port area and into downtown Tacoma - a matter of perhaps 7 minutes from the first sighting to the last:

My first Red-tailed Hawk ( a Julia's Gulch resident) swooped over my vehicle and out of view into a field near the waterfront.
Next was a Bald Eagle herding a small airborne group of Cackling Geese - in the big field just east of Hwy 509.
Then a pair of Red-tails (the Alexander Ave couple) were flying together, sometimes touching and appearing as one profile - maybe a 1/4 of a mile from the Eagle.
And last, a lone Red-tail sitting on a light standard, just as I crossed over the Puyallup River!

And all of this without a single collision or reckless driving ticket!!!

Happy Birding,
