At noon yesterday (Thursday 3/17) I saw a group of 10ish Violet-Green Swallows feeding above the tree tops in Volunteer Park. No Barn Swallows seen.

This is the first of the year swallows on Capitol Hill (for me).

Spring is finally here.

I also have seen "FOY" skunk cabbage in Interlaken Park. Very yellow and just starting to smell. Another indicator of spring.
