The Black Phoebe that has been seen at the Skagit Game Range was present today, 18 MAR 2011 at about 3PM. It was flycatching and calling from a tree on the island in the pond directly across from the boat launch parking lot. I checked out the previously reported Black-crowned Night-Heron roost in Stanwood, but could not find and Black-crowned Night-Herons.
