Hi again Tweets,

Just a quick note that birds seem to be on the move now that the weather is getting better. Around 3 PM I heard some Snow Geese moving north past our place in West Seattle. Never got a visual on them though as they were too low, down the hill from our place, closer to Lincoln Park.

At the same time an immature Red-tailed Hawk soared up in a nice thermal and then streamed out of the top, heading north. Most likely another migrant as I have not seen an immature Redtail in western?West Seattle in a couple of years; we have often seen a wintering adult though.

Last of all was a male Vaied Thrush, which came to bathe in our artificial creek. It's basically a skinny, recirculating pond, made to look more like a creek. It sure attracts birds we otherwise wouldn't see though. We usually have a few Varied Thrush in our urban, developed neighborhood, but that was the first this year, and the first ever in our creek. A White-throated Sparrow continues to visit, with its Golden-crown brethren and/or sisters.
