A pair of calling and hunting pygmy owls have been present the past two evenings at the Elwha Campground. There are also pileated woodpeckers, sapsuckers, singing dippers and an elk herd (the campground is free). A barn owl has been patrolling the neighborhoods of west Port Angeles. A sawhet was present at Sequim Bay Point on St Patties Day.
