After visiting the Josephine Retirement Center in Stanwood about 5 times I finally spotted the Black-crowned Night Heron. I was located in the area that everyone has been reporting. From the west parking area just above the roof line in the tallest fir tree. It looks like I feel just after I wake up in the morning.
