hello tweeties,

i've got a treat for you. fellow tweeter, dan logen, just returned
from a visit to ethiopia where he saw lots of birds and other wildlife
and took bazillions of gorgeous photographs. i asked him if he would
like to write a guest essay about his visit for my blog on the
Guardian, and he decided to share this fun story with the public:
"Meeting the endangered Ethiopian wolf"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/punctuated-equilibrium/2011/mar/28/2

i thought i'd share this link with you (it's about the woves, but has
some interesting bird photos and reports an bird-wolf interaction).
even the ethiopian embassy is pleased with dan's photoessay!

cheers,
