>From an old English teacher: the rule is use capitals for the 2 names (no hyphenated capital) if it refers to a particular bird, butterfly, fish, whatever; but if referring to a general "whatever" don't use capitals (except for place of origin.) However, I could be old hat, witness ("Storm-Petrel"), but it's a good rule to follow. . . with some exceptions :>) !!
