Folks,

This morning I did some bicycle birding in Seattle to see what the clear
night had brought (beyond ice on the rooftops). Among else, I got good
views of a singing CASSIN'S VIREO and a peek at a singing, then calling
(in flight) CASSIN'S FINCH in Interlaken Park. A WESTERN TANAGER male
was in the arboretum, and BAND-TAILED PIGEONs were in both places. I
saw at least one COOPER'S HAWK in Interlaken (and one in flight display
yesterday over 19th and Mercer), and one ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD is still on
a nest.
