You really never know what you'll see when walking out of doors. Just
a routine midmorning walk with the dogs down to our neighborhood park
(Lynndale). We were all startled by a male Common Pheasant which
flushed from the brush between the woods and playfields at the west
side of the park. Not at all expected - an unmistakable, close-up view
of the bird. New addition to our neighborhood walks bird list. A
Common Pheasant in Lynnwood? Nice surprise. Hope to locate it again as
we walk that area a couple times/week.
