Subject: [Tweeters] FOY birds for my yard

Thursday evening I saw a Hermit Thrush [HETH] about 15 feet from me eating worms. The rusty tail was a definite contrast to the rich chocolate brown back.

Saturday morning, I had two Osprey [OSPR] thermaling over my house.

Oh, and I have Black-capped Chickadees [BCCH] using a nest box in the front yard, both color-banded;
Oregon Junco[ORJU], both color-banded, nesting in the evergreen clematis in my front yard;

and Bewick's Wrens [BEWR] using a nest box in my back yard.
The front yard nests are in secure places. I'm trying to figure out the best most secure barrier I can put around the Wren box, with the least disturbance to the brooder.

I'm in heaven.
