Hi Tweets,
Having read the posts indicating major migrant movement today I couldn't resist escaping to Magnuson Park for a couple of hours this pm. The best bird was a TOWNSEND's SOLITAIRE foraging near the mitigation ponds at the east end of 65th Ave. NE. There was also lots of activity between these ponds and the tennis courts to the north...including Yellow-rumped (at least 100), Orange-crowned (12-15) and Wilson's Warblers (4), and Warbling (3) and Cassin's Vireos (2), and one Hammond's Flycatcher, a Pileated Woodpecker and several Vaux's Swifts.
