Hi Tweeters,
I had a comp day today and it was a great (sunny) day to join the gang that surveys Nisqually every Wednesday. Many first of year birds for me including Warbling Vireo, many Yellow Warblers, Vaux's Swift, Caspian Tern (love these guys;-), Purple Martin and Black-throated Gray Warbler. Other highlights included Rufous Hummingbird nest w two young, and the Great Horned Owl adult and two young. Thanks Phil for heading up these walks and I am sure you will have a better report than this.
