Last Saturday I drove the loop at the?Ridgefield NWR while in Vancouver visiting
my parents.? I saw two three "lifers" for me: a white-breasted nuthatch, a tree
swallow, and a?pair of cinnamon teals.?? According to my Washington state bird
book, the Ridgefield NWR is one of the few (the only?) locations for the
white-breasted nuthatch west of the Cascades.
