Hi all,

Next month, I'll be looking for Gray-headed Chickadees in northwest Alaska, and I'll be away from an electrical grid, computers, etc. for about a week. I'd like to do as much photography and video as possible (in a friendly and non-obtrusive way, of course), and that means I need more memory cards and batteries than I currently have. If there's anyone in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area who would be willing to rent or loan CF memory cards and/or extra batteries for a Canon 7D, please contact me off-list. I'm also interested in external microphones that can be attached to the camera's hot shoe.

I've looked into renting from some of the local businesses, but it appears that option would be more costly than just buying the equipment for the length of time I need it.
