Twweters,
Yesterday I noted several first of year sightings (at least for me) and spring migrants in Grays Harbor and Clallam Counties. The list included a Cassins Vireo at Lake Quinault, and many Black-throated Gray Warblers and a single Pacific Slope Flycatcher along Bear Creek north of Forks.

A Wilsons Warbler was in Olympia the previous day for my first of year sighting of that species. They all seem a long time in coming this year.

Cheers and good birding,
Bill Shelmerdine, Olympia
