Around 10:30AM on Friday, May 6th, while walking at Nisqually NWR a bright flash of yellow caught my eye at the edge of the pond on the inside of the dike trail headed out to the boardwalk. After viewing for a while with 10X binoculars I spotted two Yelllow-Headed Blackbirds. Beautiful and surprising sight.

If anyone else has seen these or manages to spot them during the next few days please let me know.

Unfortunately I left my camera at home since it was raining and the light was poor so don't have any photos.
