Dear Tweeters,

Sigh.

With only five days left until the annual migration count, one of our redoubtable Skagit Migration Count birders had to cancel out.

This leaves our roster looking sorrier than that of the Mariners.

If there is ANYONE out there in Tweeterland who can count birds in Skagit County on this Saturday, 5-14-2011, please contact me. The area where we have lost our coverage is a very good one--it includes the Skagit Valley from a bit east of Sedro-Woolley all the up to Grassmere (the hamlet just west of Concrete). This area always produces some fine birds.

If you can't really commit for a whole day, at least a quick morning's coverage would be way better than nothing. Please let me know.
