Yesterday was warm and sunny here, and I didn't have to go to work, so I
spent several hours walking and working on my five acres and observing
many bird-couples, including:

American Goldfinch (yes, the females arrived! three couples so far)
Purple Finch
Juncos (many)
Evening Grosbeak
Black-headed Grosbeak (1 male and several females)
Spotted Towhee

Also saw the usual congregations of:
Black-cap Chickadees
Chestnut Backed Chickadees
Stellar Jays
Pine Siskins
Robins
Band Tailed Pigeons
Mourning Doves

And two Red tailed Hawks overhead...

Also watched squirrels, chipmunks, deer, and even a couple raccoons.
