on my commute to work, i was on woodinville-redmond road just south of 124th
this morning. out of nowhere, an adult eagle was bailing sky, quickly
followed by several harrassing crows. the eagle's wings were completely
outstretched east and west, its tail feathers just as stretched towards the
ground, and it was quickly approaching ground in head-up/tail-down/both
talons open at 90-degrees, hoping to avenge the embarrassment while the
crows harrassed.

it managed to touch the ground in one piece in the middle of dense rush-hour
traffic without being tagged by crow or car, whereupon it immediately
launched back into the sky after team Crow...

unfortunately, i did not see the end of the conflict; traffic restarted and
the birds were into the canopy headed east out of view...
