This morning Randy Hill and I were along the Columbia River at the end of River Rd when a Lewis woodpecker flew by. I saw it Randy missed it. Later in the morning Randy and I had a meeting at Officers Row, Vancouver, WA and the place was jumping with birds, especially Western tanagers. We did not have time to bird. Later in the afternoon I was shopping and decided to go back to Officers Row. I spent 30 mins birding although the activity was not near what I saw earlier I still counted 59. Also there was a Lewis woodpecker flycatching above the house we had our meeting at that morning.
