Subject: [Tweeters] Nice new yard bird

I was up at 6 am yesterday, went out to fill the feeder, and heard a
bird singing in the giant old apple tree in my front yard--not quite
warbler, not quite goldfinch, a little buzzy. And then I realized that
was what I always said to myself before recognizing a Lazuli Bunting
song. I grabbed my bins and he kindly flew to another perch to sing
where he was fully lit by the morning sun. I've lived here
six-and-a-half years and never seen one in Olympia before.
