If they are about two feet long, they are probably what are commonly called "suckers". There is at least one common species in Western Washington streams.

Hi Tweeters

I hope everyone is enjoying spring migration as much as I am.



While birding in Kenmore Saturday afternoon I saw a crow jabbing at something in Swamp Creek. When I investigated closer I found that there were literally hundreds of fish in the stream. It appears that they were spawning under the bridge on 73 rd Ave NE and191st Street. I got some pictures but I have no idea what species of fish they are.
