I made my first stop at Ridgefield (5-13-11) while in the area for business. What a great place. I wish I had time to visit the Carty unit but I wanted to do at least one unit fairly well and come back another time for the rest.

I drove the vehicle loop and walked the 1.5 mile loop in the middle. I started off around 3pm and finished at 7pm. I was scopeless and limited to the range of my 250mm camera lens.

I don?t think there was anything too unusual that I saw or heard, it was nice to hear a Mountain Chickadee, that was a treat.
