On Friday May 13th a friend of mine working on a whale-watch boat
photographed a fork-tailed storm-petrel in Cattle Pass off the south end
of San Juan Island. On Saturday May 14th another marine naturalist saw
several of them near a bait ball at Salmon Bank. Very cool! I just heard
about these reports, but I'm going to go have a look for them tomorrow.
