Hi All,

I spent a very damp 8 hrs on the River S Unit at Ridgefield today. The
weather wasn't great, but the birding was -- 50 spp. in all. Don't ask me
about Soras though.

However, les oiseaux du jour were four breeding plumage Red-necked
Phalaropes in South Big Lake (right side, between markers 11 and 12). Two
pairs, I think. The light wasn't great. I also had the pleasure of meeting
Lyn Topinka while watching them. I hope her pictures came out better than
mine did.

Happy Birding,
