Today I spotted a pair of Plover in my mobile home park. Never seen one NOT at the sea shore. It had two separate black bands around it's neck. I think it was white between the bands and the body was brown, as memory serves. I couldn't find the variety. My sister photographed one and will send the pic to me.

As they ran across the road, only the legs moved. Lovely pair!
