I have the same one that was mentioned by another tweeter and have had it for several years. I put the bottom plate on when the starlings start showing up but the rest of the year I keep it off because the Pileated Woodpeckers and the Flickers feed from underneath. But the most astonishing part is that the starlings around here have figured out how to hang underneath and eat for 5 or 10 seconds at a time! And not only that, they have teamwork going with a buddy who stands around on the ground under the feeder catching all the bits that get dropped. So just be sure you have that metal plate on and hope they don't figure out another way in.
