Since May 1st, I've been periodically running sparrow surveys on the
easterly portion of West Rocky Prairie Wildlife Area (northeast of
Tenino, Thurston Co.), looking especially for Vespers, and seeing
mostly Savannahs and White-crowns.

I found no Vespers on the 1st and 4th. On the 10th I found 2, a
possible pair, (plus one suspect I was unable to satisfactorily
confirm), and on the 17th found one.
