The last swallow picture in the link in the message sent on behalf of
Clarke O'Reilly, but not in this email -
In my book, "Birds of the Puget Sound Region", page 262 & 263, there is a
picture of a first year female Tree Swallow. It looks the same as in the
link.

My first thought was Tree Swallows (no white "hook" behind the eye, wings &
tail look to be "same" length, no white side patches on rump?), but then I'm
not certain from the pictures about colours. Doesn't seem to be any collar
between neck & breast, so not a Bank Swallow - (maybe could be a "drab"
Violet-Green if I am off on the wing/tail length or white sides of rump.
I'd think the swallow with a reddish breast would be a Barn Swallow (if it
has a "swallow tail")? At least that's where I'd start -
