Tweets,

Made a short visit to Magnuson on the way to work today. The morning
started out pretty breezy, and for the first hour not a single warbler or
vireo. A pair of Bullock's Orioles were flying around the N end of the park
and a Mourning Dove flew over Kite Hill. The wind eventually died down and
the small birds came out, all at once. In one 50 ft stretch on Promontory
Point, the following were seen:
Orange-crowned Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Townsend's Warbler (4)
Black-throated Gray Warbler (2)
Wilson's Warbler (at least 12)
Warbling Vireo (at least 8)
plus both chickadees, a Western Tanager, a couple of House Finch, Bewick's
Wrens, Song Sparrows and a Downy Woodpecker. All of the above were singing
in a resounding concert. Plus, a few dozen Vaux's Swifts overhead, also
vocalizing.

Other notables today were 2 Lincoln's Sparrows still around, a lonely
female Lesser Scaup, and a pair of Blue-winged Teal in the main entrance
pond.
