Subject: [Tweeters] Pacific Loons in breeding plumage,

Hi all,

During our MAMU surveys today we also had the pleasure of spotting 8-10
Pacific Loons in breeding plumage in the bays about 150-350 meters off the
coast of East and Southeast Marrowstone Island. A couple sightings of Common
Loons also in breeding plumage kept us on our toes. We also saw a couple of
breeding plumage PALOs in Freshwater Bay near Port Angeles on Tuesday, 5/24.
Unfortunately, I'm unsure of how to best get to either location except by
boat.

Peace,
