Hi all,
I?very much?agree with David Gluckman on the value of WATER FEATURES--except
when the whole world seems to be a water-feature, like today. Only?a lone
Orange-crowned Warbler came by today to bathe in Butyl Creek--but Monday was a
different story.? That day had multiple Wilson's, multiple Orange-crowned,
Yellow-rumped, and Yellow Warbler at the creek plus Warbling Vireo which does a
dive-bath, Swainson's Thrush, a seemingly very late Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a
life-yardbird EVENING GROSBEAK plus the residents including Song Sparrow.? Butyl
Creek is an 8 ft. recirculating creek in our small backyard in?residential
Beacon Hill, Seattle.
With the ?lack of birds today I decided to compile shots from me and Delia's
spring of birdwatching, at

called Bright shots from a gloomy spring.? Warning:? No rare birds.
Best,
Ed Newbold
