Tweeters one and all,

I've already answered the first Dipper Quest posting in a personal e-mail and it seems that I should tell everyone at once that the most reliable dipper sightings are right here in Bellingham, in Whatcom Falls Park.
Within the park are at least two confirmed nests and right now, young birds are following adults up and down the creek in the park, above and below the main falls.

There have been Dipper sightings along the entire 3.5 mile length of Whatcom Creek, from Lake Whatcom to Bellingham Bay.
