The May Marbled Murrelet show is continuing off the Edmonds public
pier. We saw five this morning (5-29-11). There was one yesterday mid-
afternoon. There were a few Rhinoceros Auklets and, of note, were 8
Western Grebes about midway across the Sound.

No shorebirds were at the Marsh this morning. A Wilson's Warbler and
many singing Marsh Wrens were the most interesting birds.

At the Willow Creek Hatchery and Point Edwards public path there were
several Warbling Vireos and a Yellow Warbler. Five goslings of good
size could be seen with their Canada Goose parents on the south side
of the Marsh. Other than that, it was the usual resident species and
few of them.
