Hi, I have been SWARMED with advice, questions and offers of help with my bee colony. I was able to get really good looks, and they are BUMBLEBEES. So I am leaving them there for as long as they want, as they are endangered, and native. I lost my White Faced Hornets a couple years ago, when some know-it-all, decided to help me out without asking. FYI, I would never TRY to get rid of them, no matter what kind of bee it is. I think some misunderstood that with my letter. I was concerned about the legalities of having a beehive in the city limits. I was informed that is it fine if I have a bee colony here. A wild bumble bee colony, which I read are small ones, and a welcome guest. They even have instructions on how to build a bumblebee house online. Thanks for all the info and interest, I just cannot answer all the emails now...So I am thanking all of you here in one note!
