Hi Tweeters,

Migrants are thinning out, but there were still a few highlights this morning:
- Black Swift - 2 flew over amongst the Vaux's at about 8:15 am, my first west of Lake WA.
- Red Crossbill - flock of about a dozen in some conifers absolutely stuffed with cones - viewable from the SW corner of Promontory Pt. trails in the neighborhood to the south; I saw a pair here last week, now they've multiplied.
- Bullock's Oriole - a male and at least 1, if not 2 additional pairs just S of the E part of the dog park

Other migrants in the Prom. Pt. area included a flock of warblers - Yellow-rumped, Townsend's, Yellow, and Wilson's, and a single Pacific-slope Flycatcher along with several Western Wood-pewees.

Good birding,
Evan Houston
