Three trumpeter swans this morning were the first of the species seen this winter in the fields at the Pt. Williams/Schmuck Rd. intersection, Sequim. Also, a lone snow goose has been in the corn stubble in the same area among approx. 2,000 cackling geese and small numbers of white-fronted geese for about a week.
