Hello Tweeties,

The past several days a sad little bird was hanging out at my feeder. It
would remain on the perch for extended periods of time just sitting there,
feathers all fluffed out, only occasionally feeding with it's dirty beak.
Today it returned and just sat there for the longest time. It's breathing
seemed labored and as I was observing the juncos, chickadees, and
nuthatches fly in, take a bite and fly out, the sad little bird just sat
there. As I was watching, the bird keeled over and literally dropped dead
to the ground below the feeder!

I think the sad little bird was a Pine Siskin. Here is a link to two "post
