I found a male Rusty Blackbird at Woodland Bottoms as reported by Dan
Waggoner on Tweeters Alerts yesterday early evening. In addition I also found
a female Rusty Blackbird in the mixed flock of Brewer's and Red-winged
Blackbirds, Starlings and sparrows feeding on the ground next to the covered
pile of sawdust and chips (smells better than manure). They were between the
buildings and covered pile at 1339 Caples Rd, Woodland, WA. My sightings
were about 9 AM today (Friday, 11/4/11) after perhaps a half hour, while
parked off the shoulder between said building and covered pile and scanning
the birds as the came and went.
