In an e-mail exchange with John Walshe re: his Tweeters post dated 11/4
about the eider & snow bunting in O.S. posting, I had forgotten the European
way of putting the day before the month...for those who wanted to know if
the eider is still here...she is as of yesterday! That's good news for those
of us who would love to claim her as a (permanent) resident.
