Although I did not hear it, the bird previously reported near Three Crabs was viewed well this afternoon. I watched it until dark and obtained some very low quality photos. The best viewing spot was clearly prior to Three Crabs: you can pull off at Abernathy St. and look east.
Somehow the bird was still finding some larger flying insect prey despite the chill, including a dragonfly or two. I ran into an observer at Ediz Hook that said he had seen it also last Tuesday, Nov. 1.

There was also a small flock of birds here along the road that included a PALM WARBLER among several Yellow-rumps. I was unable to find either the Neah Bay Clay-colored Sparrow(s) or the Ediz Hook Rock Wren.
