I led a North Cascades Audubon field trip on my regular loop-walk around Blaine harbor this morning and the super weather and super birds were capped off with great views of 4 Snow Buntings feeding/foraging alongside the road to the public pier.
We had lots of close-up opportunities for everyone and they were life birds for at least four folks on the walk.

Thousands of Am. Wigeons (at least 2 Eurasians) and thousands of Dunlin along with grebes, loons, scoters, cormorants, harlequins, herons, and a Merlin were just a few of the highlights, along with a spectacular early-November Sunday.

And it's only just begun for this winter hotspot, so come on up for a visit sometime.
