Subject: [Tweeters] Habitat Associations of Rare Birds & Manure
It was thrilling to hear of a Hobby being found near a manure pile in Washington. This most be only the second state record.
What is so surprising is that there were so few cars there. One can only speculate that the heat from the manure pile created a
micro-climate favorable for the presence of dragonflies.
